		<description>The first problem that I have with this &quot;devotion&quot; or whatever is the very first sentence.  I guess I am looking for his definition of &quot;authentic selfhood&quot;.  At first reading, I would have to disagree with him in light of my belief that we should find our identity in Christ.  Authentic selfhood sounds almost &quot;new age&quot; like...  finding truth and identity from within rather than from the Creator.  Self joy is not my goal... pleasing God is.  And then, in that a lot of what he&#039;s talking about... self joy, meeting the needs of others, etc. will be richer and more meaningful.</description>
