I’m currently listening to concerts from the Wakarusa festival. This is something I enjoy doing this time of the year… downloading trade-friendly concerts from music festivals. While it’s not the same as going to the festival, it has a vibe to it that I like, and it exposes me to bands I wouldn’t otherwise listen to. Current concert: Les Claypool
New podcast called jampods. This is really cool. You can subscribe to feeds from different bands, and will get 1/2 hour of a concert delivered to your itunes, or other client weekly. I subscribe to Disco Bisquits, Drive by truckers, moe. and Yonder Mountain String Band.
Just got Secret Machines from emusic.com. Absolutely love it. They are my new favorite band. A lot of people compare them to Pink Floyd. I’m not really familiar with Floyd, but really like Secret Machines. I first learned of them from a podcast on Live Music Blog

I was just going to post this incredibly snarky comment about how it’s been two weeks since there has been any blogging going on here and then I remembered that you are technologically impaired for the time being. Given that it’s 6 in the AM and I’m coping with not sleeping by tooling around online, I wonder how you’re coping…
