I too, am having problems with Yahoo. I can no longer get into my e-mail account. So, I have been rerouted to go by way of the back door so to speak. And, like Jeffrey, I would attempt to log in to a website to be told, that e-mail address, or sign-in was already in use, when I had never before been to the website.
So, what is going on with Yahoo? I have used it for 8 years and up until recently have never had a problem.

My yahoo mail is changing from day to day and they will not answer my email questions about what is happening. Very frustrating. How can I force them to answer my questions? At this point I would be encouraged to get a form letter response.

Well I've had only good experiences with Yahoo for the past 10 years. However, I cannot get to my mail this morning - no one in my office can. Everything else on Yahoo works except signing in to your email. How do you find out what is going on? Shouldn't they post a message on the opening page of Yahoo if they are experiencing difficulties.

Well, the whole bad name is already in place with me. I left them long ago when Google came to town.

Never went with mail, though. I was caught up in the other tyranical giant hotmail.

Odd, though, how you lost access to your account. Many 'hmm's'
