Recently in my devotional reading, I was struck by Psalm 34:3-5 “Oh, magnify The LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought The LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.”
I want it to be that when I am done worshipping God in devotions or in a church service that people would look at me and say “His face is radiant.” I’m like many people and not naturally very emotionally expressive. But there is something about worshipping God that should produce a glow that people notice. 2 Cor. 3:18 says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. My wife Deana said about this
“We reflect/radiate the glory of the Lord each time we enter in to praise Him and thus are being transformed more into His image. So the more we choose to praise and worship Him, the more we are transformed and will radiate His glory to the world around us.”
Our prayer is that when we are done worshipping Him in our devotions or in a church service people would look at us and say “Their face is radiant.”
