If you happen to see me during the week, you are likely to find me wearing a new cap. My wife got it for me for Valentine’s Day, though it only arrived last week. The big exclamation point always elicits curiosity. “What’s it mean,” an older gentleman at Barnes and Nobles asked me. “It means live life out loud,” I explained. By way of further explanation, it comes from the Tom Peters Company. Tom Peters is a business consultant that I’ve been a fan of since 1990 when I first came across his book “Thriving on Chaos” at the Eastside Foursquare Church while I was on staff there. I like Tom’s writing because he is passionate about creativity and about being nimble enough to navigate the ever-changing cultural landscape of the 21st century. Thanks Deana. I love the hat. Oh.
