It’s easy to look at my life and dwell on all the mistakes I’ve made and get all glum. But today I thought of two simple little things I’ve done that I am proud of and makes life just a little better. The first is that we bought a bunch of AA rechargable batteries. We use a lot of batteries in our house, but now we just recharge them instead of buying new one. The second is that I periodically replace incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescents. A little thing, I know. But it saves money, both in bulb replacement and in energy. So there you go. Two simple things I’m proud of. Rechargeable batteries, and compact fluorescents.
